OUR MISSION

We have been commanded to do one main thing above everything else: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20

OUR VISION

To be a church where passionate praise and worship ignite a fire of faith in every member, fostering a deeper connection with God and a transformed life.
To equip and empower every member to become a disciple of Christ, sharing their faith confidently and leading others to a life-changing relationship with God.

OUR VALUES

NKST Lobi Church upholds integrity as a fundamental value in all aspects of life. Members are encouraged to live with honesty, sincerity, and moral uprightness, both in their personal conduct and in their interactions with others.
Equipping members for a deeper relationship with God and helping them grow in their faith.

NKST LOBI BEFORE BECOMING A CONSISTORY
A place of worship in the vicinity of clerks quarters became a necessity. The reason being that the NKST church at Wadata, Makurdi was not a stone throw. Subsequently, in December, 1968, Prince David Benson Awua Imande, who was the Assistant Headmaster approached Mr. Peter Aondoakaa Orga, who was the Headmaster for permission to commence a worship centre in the LEA Primary School, Makurdi premises, their place of teaching. Mr. Orga gave an express permission. During the Holy Communion Conference of March, 1969, Prince D.B.A Imande met the pastor and council of Elders to obtain official permission to formally start a church at the LEA Primary School, Makurdi. Rev. James A. Mayange who was the resident pastor then accepted the offer. Thus a worship place called LEA Church was born, which was later to become NKST Church, Lobi.
